The Team

Urim Zogaj is from the village of Ladroc in the Malisheve region. He has lived and worked in Kosovo his entire life. He has a calling to ministry and a gift of teaching. He graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Europe and has served in various ministries and worked different jobs over the years. It was in January 2012 that the Lord confirmed his call to work in full time ministry in his home town in the church in Malisheve and opened the doors for him to begin doing that. He was ordained as a pastor in the church of Malishevë in November 2014. Urim is currently raising support as a full time national pastor and leading the church as it's newly appointed lead pastor through various ministries using his gifts to further the kingdom of God, seeking to live as an example to the believers in word and deed. He and his fiancé Teuta (pictured above) are preparing to marry this coming summer of 2015 and serve the Lord together. (See the "National Workers" page for more info.)

Bylbyl & Antonela.

More to come on Bylbyl &Antonela....

Jen Mellor is a new addition to the ministry team but she has a long history of faithful service in the church of Malishevë. Several years back Jen served in the church through women's and children's ministry until the Lord led her to serve in the Phillippines. Jen has many years of ministry experience and will be a great help to the team and the church of Malishevë when she returns this summer. She will be working through Mercy Projects alongside the church of Malishevë filling ministry gaps and doing extremely valuable work in reaching the people of Malishevë, especially the women. (See http://mercyprojects.org/sponsorship/jen-mellor/ for more info and how to support Jen)

Jeff and Rachael Harry have been part of the work in Malisheve from the beginning. Rachael was called here right after the way in 99' and Jeff came to serve soon after. They spent several years serving in Kosovo in the years that followed. Later Jeff served in his home church, Calvary Chapel of Redlands California for 5 years, was ordained as a pastor and the Lord called them back to Kosovo in January 2011 with their children Isaac and Pearl. Rachael gave birth to their third child, Scarlet, October 2012 in Kosovo. The Lord led them to continue and increase what they were doing with pastor Randy. Jeff served as lead pastor of the church for almost 3 years. And now That the Lord has raised up pastor Urim, Jeff helped transition the church from foreign missionary leadership to national leadership and moved with his family back to the U.S August of 2015.

Randy and Lycia Harvey came to Kosovo soon after the war in 1998-9, with an extreme love from God for the Kosovar people. They pioneered the work in Malisheve through humanitarian aid work, with Eastern European Outreach (now Mercy Projects), and various other outreaches to benefit the community here. In 2001 the work turned into a church plant and Randy began pastoring the church in Malisheve. He was the head and founding pastor, ordained by Calvary Murrieta for many years. Randy served the Lord with everything that he had until the day of his death July 24, 2012.
